In partnership with XeroHome and Southern California Edison, CalChoice Associate Member, Pico Rivera Innovative Municipal Energy (PRIME), will offer PRIME customers a free home energy audit. The opportunity available to all Pico Rivera residents who live in single-family homes or duplex dwellings.

XeroHome is a digital platform that uses public data to develop energy models for homes. This application provides homeowners with detailed reports analyzing their energy usage and suggests improvements to enhance energy efficiency and reduce building carbonization. 

“XeroHome is an innovative way for customers to learn more about the way they use energy,” said CalChoice Executive Director Jason Caudle. “It goes beyond providing insights, it offers practical solutions to address energy inefficiencies.”

In addition to valuable recommendations and solutions, the platform will also provide customers with a list of local, state and federal incentives to alleviate the financial burden associated with energy efficiency upgrades, making the process a positive experience for homeowners.

“Understanding how to reduce energy consumption and make better choices can be complex,” said continued Jason. “Through the XeroHome program, PRIME continues to simplify the process and empower homeowners to take a step towards energy efficiency.”
