CalChoice Associate Member, Rancho Mirage Energy Authority (RMEA), Empowers Sustainability with the Green Wheels Sweepstakes

In late 2023, CalChoice Associate Member Rancho Mirage Energy Authority (RMEA) launched an electric bike giveaway program to encourage the adoption of green transportation in Rancho Mirage. Until the end of August 2024, all Rancho Mirage households are eligible to enter the RMEA Green Wheels Sweepstakes for a chance to win an electric bike.

The purpose of the program is to engage Rancho Mirage residents in sustainable practices by offering a fun incentive. The opportunity to win an electric bike, valued at approximately $2,000, motivates residents to adopt eco-friendly living and transportation habits, serving as a catalyst for promoting participation in green initiatives.

“Our CCA members are pioneers in innovation, always striving to benefit customers and the environment,” said CalChoice Executive Director Jason Caudle. “Rancho Mirage’s initiative sets a compelling example, and I hope other CCAs will embrace similar opportunities in their own regions.”To learn more, visit RMEA’s website.
